Just got my 2006 4x4 SE...whats a good first mod?

Man oh man how I love my new runner...big difference from my 97 SR5 4runner....

anyways...just wondering what would be a good first mod?

I was leaning towards some of the OEM Toyota Accessories..

The Valor Exhaust tip would be a good start...

Do you think that the door sills would be a good investment given that they protect and all....my only worry is that I don't them to look tacky! Any pictures of the OEM Door Sills?

Also thought of doing the Front End Skid Plate....but after reading here on the forums, alot of people say that it doesn't do jack for anything except looks....is there a better aftermarket skid plate for the front end out there?

any other recommendations? new bulbs or anything...??

Hey welcome to the board and congrats on the new truck.

I only did the front, though I'm looking to do the back but haven't had the time. I personally like them, though most people probably won't notice them.

Mods depend on the person. Some like to do more audio, some like to do a lot of lighting, others do the offroading route. There are plenty of directions to go, just take a look at the Gallery Area or the accessories and you'll see many mods.

orangeblast22, if you decide that you want the exhaust tip by Valor, let me know. I'm picking up my 06 SE 4Runner tomorrow, which comes with the Valor exhaust tip. Since I will be replacing the stock exhaust with the Borla system, I would be willing to sell the Valor tip at a discount and mail it to you. Let me know if you're interested.
