Just sold my '94 and guess how much I got!

I bought my Blue '94 T4R about 5yrs ago w/ 32K miles on it. It looked like it had just come off the showroom floor. (An older couple owned it and never drove it.) I just hit 100K miles recently and had all the preventative maintenance done. Besides the rack on top and the new rear coils to help with the butt sag, I hadn't done anything extra to it. Besides oil changes, brakes and spark plugs it was awesome! I've been wanting a 2000 T4R, so I decided to sell my '94. I placed an ad for it online and was asking $9,500. (I didn't really want to sell it, but if someone was actually willing to pay that much for it, I thought why not.) To make a long story short, a guy called me up a few weeks later and offered me $10,200! I sold it a couple days later. The online ad company entered the wrong price on the ad at $10,500. So when a guy called my up and offered me $10,200, I didn't ask any questions! How cool is that!

I'm not trying to brag, I just wanted everyone to know, it doesn't matter how much you think your T4R is worth, there is always someone else out there who thinks it's worth more!

Hopefully I'll be getting a 2000 soon! I love the 4Runner!

When I sold it, it just hit 103,000 miles.

Well like I said, I bought it around June of 2000 and it only had 32K miles on it. If I remember correctly, I paid $11,500 for it at a dealership up North. I got a great deal on it. At the time the 2nd gens w/ that kinda mileage were still selling for $16k - $17K were I live.

I too sold a '93 4Runner last year with about 50K miles on it for $12K. Yeah, crazy low miles (had 3 vehicles). They got a beauty and I got a good price. Never be afraid to ask too much!
