Hi guys,
New member here, but I recently bought a Black 2003 4runner Limited and was looking for some advice on how to keep it looking good. I have beige leather seats that are in relatively good condition except for a tear in the driver's side seat along with an indented ring in one of the rear seats where the previous owner left something heavy on
I started to clean her up a bit and used a sand paper kit for the headlights which looks great. I also tried to put a lamin-x clear cover over the headlights and found it impossible to put a hard flat piece of laminate over the relatively sharp curve of the 4runner headlights. I tried to pull and readjust a dozen times and no matter where I started or what my procedure was for eliminated air bubbles, it would not conform to the curve.
So my noob questions are:
What is the best and cheapest way to repair the leather seat? Most of the replacement seats I've seen don't match my design.
What is a good Leather conditioner for beige seats? Is there a way to eliminate the circular indent in the seat?
What is a good Rubber conditioner to apply to CV joints?
What is a good quality wax for my car?
Have other people used the thick lamin-x headlight covers successfully? Do they need a warm day (it was probably 50 and drizzling here)
