Just trying to get started up

I just recently bought my first car, a 1997 Toyota 4Runner, and I'm in love with it. I found this forum before I bought it and it helped me out a lot. My dad was never really a car guy so I have very minimal knowledge about cars. What would you guys recommend to help me learn all the things I need to know to perform certain services to my vehicle. I see a lot of things on this forum that I have no clue what they're about but I still have learned a lot just by looking around. I recently cleaned my TB and my MAF. What would you guys recommend?

Welcome to the forum and to car ownership. The best thing is a friend or family member who is into it. Failing that, I'd just cut any phrase that you see on here that intrigues you or confuses you and paste it into YouTube search with 4Runner tacked on. There is a video how-to on almost everything, and even if it's the wrong model 4Runner you will still get a good idea of what's going on.
