I got to Ft Hood at 8:45 am - at 9am they closed post for the day. To be fair - I just finished a 5yr stint at Ft Drum in Watertown Ny and the roads today in Texas were very dangerous. Sheer ice and no salt/sanding trucks to be found.

How did your DuraTracs handle the snow?

A little nerver racking skidding out of the garage, but once I locked 'er in 4WD I might as well have had a plow on the front
