JVC KW NT3HDT/Pioneer AVIC Z120 install

looking to replace stock HU in '11 SR5 w/ one of these systems.

having read most "aftermarket" threads and messaging w/ several helpful members, i have just a few questions:

i know i'll either need PAC SWI Jack or Axxess adapter to use steering wheel controls. thoughts on which one is better? any difference?

will an additional harness be needed to mate w/ OEM stereo?

is there a wiring diagram for the OEM stereo available to see what connections must be made?

ordering the Metra 99-8227S to make this all work, right?

Hey Jake, did you check out the link i posted in the other thread on the AVIC?

Anyway, almost every thread on that site talks about using the PAC for the controls. I have the 120 and PAC and they both work great.

the UR thread that you added a 920 to an '08?

that is helpful but are there differences in the wiring from an '08 to an '11?

the dash alone seems to be a ***** to remove: trying to get at the relay behind the inside fuse box under the steering wheel to get constant power for my cig lighters is next to impossible

Jake, it was a Z120 I installed.

I missed the part about this going into an '11.

You should still go to the AVIC411 site for info about the Pioneers.

Not familliar with the JVC.
