A lot of you guys know me on the forum or have at least seen my name around from being a mod. As well as b/c of my 3rd Gen Build

Well, I'm happy to report that my wife and I just bought a 2014 Trail Edition Premium! :biggrin1: Fully loaded, non KDSS, with TRD Pro wheels already on it.

Now this won't be as crazy of a build as my 3rd Gen, as it's "the wife's" daily driver, but I do plan to do some upgrades to make it more camping/light trail ready. This idea could all go out the window once I start actually modding but we'll see haha.

I will eventually format this page much like my 3rd Gen build once I have some more mods and upgrades to add but for now it's completely factory, so not much to add.

Not the best pics as we brought it home last night, but there will be many more to come!

The wifey and I went up to Boreas Pass in the Rockies this past weekend to check out some of the fall colors. We weren't disappointed. The pass is very easy driving and didn't even require 4x4, but still nice to get off the pavement. This was our first wilderness trip in the new 4Runner, and unlike the trips I typically do with my 3rd gen, the wife enjoyed it a lot haha! No crazy flexing and off-camber trails on this one. Just enjoying the scenery!

Man, you're pushing it!! There were a lot of areas already loosing their leaves. It's not that big of a window. I'd say next weekend you might be ok, but with these cold fronts coming in so frequently there's a lot of activity in the range. It was actually snowing some while we were up there, and Boreas pass is only 11k ft.. Might not be much left depending on the area you're going to.

We got ours for $38,300 before TTT for our TEP at groove toyota. We looked at used ones and even used from Carmax. Just made since to buy new cause the used prices on 4runners in Colorado are damn near the same as a new one.

I think it was somewhere around 35k.. Certified Pre Owned and we added the extended comprehensive warranty.

haha, thanks man. Not much going on here since I have ongoing projects on the 3rd gen. Once they slow down, I'll hopefully get to this guy for some mild offroad goodies. BTW, not all of them have 3rd row options. I think only SR5's and Limiteds do.

The wife loves it though. This is her first time driving in snow. She got stuck in her work parking lot on a hill/turn and she called me asking for help. I told her to put it in 4wd and she was like omg, wooowwww... haha, she's never had a 4wd before.

Hi Waldo! Fellow Springs resident, new to the forums. So, what's the deal with the "please upgrade your account to allow third party hosting" (or whatever it says) that I keep seeing, as on this build thread? It appears from the comments that your original postincluded photos that are now no longer visible? Or are they just not visible to me until I upgrade my account? I'm confused. Thanks. Sorry if this wasn't quite the right place to post this--I'm open to direction.

Happened to all of us who used PhotoBucket to host images. In early July PhotoBucket changed their user license agreement and they want us to pay $399/year to allow these forums and such, link to our photo library.

There was plugin for Chrome browsers that circumvented Photobucket's controls but that hole was plugged a few days after. There are no other options to my knowledge to see these pictures unless the user upgrades or links to a new photo hosting solution.
