K&N Intake Kit for $200

If you need a stock airbox try a salvage yard. theres gotta be 20 of them at Jims Yoda yard in denver if not more, or the Yota Yard would prob have a ton of them...

Thanks. I'll give those a shot. None of the salvage yards in Utah has a single one. I've called them all. At least, several months ago when I did my calling none of them had them. And I'm not sure exactly what I need--when the K&N was put in, what stock parts come out? Just the box? I think the tube as well is K&N so I'd need to pick up the stock tube as well, so what do I ask for when I contact these places? Should I just say, "I need the stock air system for a 2000 4runner v6?" Anyway, when I try to look up parts I'm not sure what the actual names of them are in the parts list.

You might be able to use one of these Apexi-USA - Power Intake They are dry filters. At the bottom of the page there are universal filters with different size flanges. One of them might fit your K&N tube.

that's an interesting idea, kball. has anybody else out there attached a non-K&N filter to their K&N intake tube?
