K&n vs Air box, batt switch

? Is there an advantage of doing the battery, air-box switch over just putting in a K&N filter? Does it breath better being closer to the intake/

The benefit to the airbox battery swap is not so much the shorter intake as that the intake doesn't run in front of the hot engine any more.

i did both and i love it, there is so much more throttle response. i also got 1.4 more mpg's with it. top end power seemed to increase a very very small amount but that could also be caused because of all the crap outa the back to...
