The benefit to the airbox battery swap is not so much the shorter intake as that the intake doesn't run in front of the hot engine any more.

Thurlo76 New member Dec 5, 2012 #3 i did both and i love it, there is so much more throttle response. i also got 1.4 more mpg's with it. top end power seemed to increase a very very small amount but that could also be caused because of all the crap outa the back to...
