What is everyone thinking for arrival times on Friday? I am planning on camping at the lake. If my passengers can swing it I would like to be there around 3-4 to set up camp and hang out. My crew is planning on eating in town for dinner that night but planning on some drinks and a fire that evening if possible. Weather is looking great for both fri/sat. Looking forward to the trail and meeting everyone also.

I was thinking about the same. I'll try to arrive between 1-3 and find a spot to camp then a little fishing or relax. I have a friend and his son meeting me there in the evening. I plan on grilling burgers or something for dinner at camp then maybe a drink or two but not staying up late.

My fiance' and I will be leaving Tulsa around 4pm, which will put us down there around 6:30-7 on Friday night. We will be ready for a fire and some drinks, so have that fire going, guys! haha! Looks like there is a 30% chance of rain for the Tulsa area on Saturday, but only 10% for Clayton. BUUUTTTTTT, those rain chances have the possibility of increasing according to the news this morning and it looks like there will be rain in the Clayton area all the way though Thursday this week, so it might be a bit of a mud fest... Won't bother me, unless the hills are to slippery to climb!!!

We will know more later this week... looks like a slight possibility of it being severe as of right now, but again, that's for the Tulsa area...

Good thinking. Chain saw may very well be necessary. I'll see if I can get mine out of storage and fired up for the trip too.

My buddy has a winch also on his jk so there is that one too. I agree with you, a little rain or wetness is ok bit if a Nader is in the forecast of possibility I am out!

We plan on doing the same, just sleeping in my 4runner. I'd be glad to split a site with you! Also, if you can, bring your chain saw and I'll leave mine at home. Mine is packed up in storage and hasn't been started in a long time, so I don't know how reliable it'll be.
