It was a little less than that. I paid about $800 for the kit, and another $300 for install. I think the seat heaters were like $150 for both drivers and passenger side.

can you get them to install heated seats at the back?
You can have heated seats where ever you want!!! They can heat the carpet for you if that is what you want.
I ordered them online at a place called auto interiors live. They seemed to be ok but after 1 month of not seeing the kit I tried to contact them. No answer, no response. So I called Katzkin direct they told me not to deal with that vendor and set me up with someone locally. Called VISA they got my money back from other company and I had my kit installed in less than 5 days!!!

Any local shop interior shop should be able to order for you, or contact Katzkin direct and let them know you are having trouble finding a vendor, they can kook you up.
Thx, I was able to take a couple swatches out to match the grey before ordering. That helped at a lot!
Yes the switches are in the factory location. They just drilled holes in the black plastic covers and mounted the switches there. Not in love with how they did it so I might change in the future.

I am also leaning toward the leather before I get a new dog...so much easier to keep clean. I hope this does not sound strange, but isn't there a seat airbag with the original seat? If so, how do they accomodate the bags? Oh, and if they completely remove the old covers, do they give them to you?

Thx. Yes there are airbags in the seat, and I do not know how they do it, but they are air bag compatible just like the factory seat covers.
Yes they completely remove the cloth, I wanted to get the old covers but they said they had to cut most of them off because they are glued down in certain places. Not sure if this is true or they just cut them to save time and told me that?

Hmmmm... interesting that you mention that they had to cut your seat covers off. I wanted mine too but they said they were destroyed when removed. I guess that is how you get a much tighter look to the OEM covers if they are in fact glued down.
Did you notice the seats feel more "cushiony" after the install. I almost think there is an extra layer of foam or something that was added...

No not really more "cushiony". Maybe a little because you can feel the leather is thicker and better quality than the stock cloth, but I definitely do not have an extra layer of foam. I would know, or they would have asked me if they put anything down. The shop who did it here in Denver (Auto Trim of Denver) is top notch. Any options, etc were all discussed with me prior to installation.

That is a BFLAN steering wheel cover!!!
Went out a bought a nice piece of black leather. Removed trim pieces on steering wheel and starting sewing. It is not hard, just takes a lot of time. I am planning on doing another one when I get some free time. I know my second attempt will be better than the first!

I noticed that the suggested retail price is around $2000 on the katzkin website, but the prices i have seen on here seem to be in the $1100-1300 range including install. Why is there such a large discrepancy?
