KDSS or Not KDSS, That Is The Question.
Last September we traded our '15 Wrangler JKU for a '16 Canadian Trail. I didn't know what KDSS was, but I knew our Trail had it, because it was listed onn the brochure. Our first long drives were on twisty roads and I was amazed at how much more comfortably the 4R rode than the Jeep, and how much faster I could take the twisty mountain highways. Then, on a 4R website, I finally saw some photos of a KDSS setup, so I got down to take a look at mine. Surprise! It's not there! We simply have a SR5 Premium Plus with all the goodies, but no KDSS, and I could care less.
Not to mention all the different 4x4s I drove in the 1950s Canadian Army, the 4R is my 10th 4x4 since 1964; '64 Int' Scout, '69 and '75 Land Rovers, '83 Chev Blazer, '89 Isuzu Trooper, '96 Cherokee, '08 Mitsu Outlander, '14 Cherokee, '15 Wrangler,, and our '16 4R Trail is the best of them all! So don't fight kiddies, ride safe, have fun! - Ted.
