KDSS warning indicator

I too have a KDSS light On for some time. Today decided to check that notorious connector and - lo and behold - I got exactly same issue: two broken pins in the connector. How did you guys solve the problem? What is the part number for the female connector? Is it 90980-12303? What about male connector which is the part of that black Aisin thing (what is that btw?)?

Any help is greatly appreciated!

I was a lucky recipient of the KDSS warning light last week.

2010 4Runner Trail with 79,000 km.

I knew about cleaning the area above the projection plate and never had any build up accumulate.

Turned out to be corroded pins that broke off are are permanent features of the female side of the connection between the harness and the KDSS accumulator.

My Toyota dealer just called with a quote for repair:
$6000 Canadian loonies.
