Hey guys, in Lexington/Gtown---I'm wanting to find out about getting connected with a group to hit some intermediate trails around the gorge if possible. I just got my '11 sr5 runner in November and just completed my lift and tires and ready to have a little fun. No winch or sliders etc.. yet....so support would be really appreciated. Honestly at this point I'm convinced it's just going to snow randomly throughout the year so I'm preparing myself mentally for it. :crybaby:

Always loved Oliver’s rig. Glad to see it ended up in good hands. I was trying to get him to trade me wheels before he got rid of it lol. My bronze wheels would look so good on the stellar blue.

Definitely gotta meet up. Schedule is crazy right now with my sons t-ball starting, and I’m about to swap in 4.30 diffs with e-locker.

Played hookie from work again to make another Turkey Bay run, this time with our youngest (14) and Sam the dog. After stopping to fill up and get some snacks, we had a nice ride to Golden Pond, KY for our permit and enjoyed a few hours on the trail, including a lunch break in the woods.

She was more at ease with the bumps, thumps, twists and turns than her Mama, but we still stayed on the main trail most of the time. The lake was quite full again, so the lakeside trail went untravelled and we didn't get to go out on the sand bar, but a good time was had anyway.

She's a bit camera shy.

Does anyone know local fabricators that sell sliders? Looking at ordering a pair and everything online has (understandably) high shipping costs. What about folks that can help with welding?

I need a welder too, just got a set of 4xinnovations sliders last week. I'm considering just buying a Hobart 140 and doing it myself, but I'm not sure the circuit to the outdoor outlets are on a 20A breaker.

Yeah I will. I'm leaning towards buying a welder, but it might be a couple of months - I bought two wedding bands and a suit yesterday....

Hello! New to the 4runner world. Im in Lexington ky. Recently purchased a 2003 4runner stock SR5 4x4 with 150k miles. And would love to take it out somewhere and check out some trails and see what mods it needs. Tips and advice are always welcome. Of course, info on groups or clubs as well.
