Hey guys, in Lexington/Gtown---I'm wanting to find out about getting connected with a group to hit some intermediate trails around the gorge if possible. I just got my '11 sr5 runner in November and just completed my lift and tires and ready to have a little fun. No winch or sliders etc.. yet....so support would be really appreciated. Hey all! Been a lurker for a while and havent really bothered posting anything, located in Lexington, KY. I own a 04 Silver SR5, with blk tires and a tire on my roof rack (yeah I'm one of those dinguses) until I can get a rear tire mount and a T4R sticker on the driver side. Glad to be apart of the group and hope to get to know some of you all, sure I've seen some of you around town!

If I wasn't in the middle of prepping for ATR, or it being short notice....I have been wanting to explore Slade, just nothing too difficult yet.

I’d love to but can’t for a bit. My wife is due in about two weeks so I need to stay close to home, or at least where I have reliable cell service. Post up some pictures of wherever you end up. I want to get back down there soon.

I only ended up going for a few hours but I went clockwise up the KAT from Slade. I went up Spaas Creek and down Cane Creek, but ran into some boulders in the road just south of the mining operation in Bowen and decided to head home to clean up the 4Runner and cut the grass. I didn't get a ton of pics, especially on some of the rougher sections but it was really fun.

I need to get those sliders welded on asap though. There were a few lines I had to take that if my tires had slipped I'd have caved in the doors.

I'm going to check my dash cam videos tonight or tomorrow and if there's anything cool there I might put a few minutes of it on YouTube and link it here

Well that was a letdown. I got it all on video but it's not really worth watching. Half of it is glare from the dashboard and the chick fil a bag in my passenger floorboard :lmao:

I don't have any first hand experience with it, but a friend of mine got his truck done at Classic Tint off Nicholasville and seemed happy with it.

Well now that the tint is done, I'm looking for a body shop if you got anyone? I've got some rust along the edges of the rear window and want to see if I can just get it repaired, or if I'll need to go ahead and get a new one.... Toyota said the highest price for a new shell would be $970

[MENTION=210136]amheuste[/MENTION] I'm loving it, I honestly don't know why I put it off this long. I took it over to J&J Window Tint in Paris. The guys had great service and were knowledge about what they do. The owner James was there working on my car himself, not just letting his guys do it. I got tint all the way around and a spare remote start fob for $260. They stock Scorpion film, which isn't as well known but has a lifetime warranty and I saw some good reviews and didn't mind trying it out.

Behind the Driver -> 35% over factory, its around 12% now
Front two Windows -> 20%
Whole Windshield -> 50%

I was a little skeptical about doing the whole windshield and getting 20% up front bc I was concerned about seeing at night, but I've had no visibility issues yet so I'm loving this setup.

Oh also, I got a "@" decal made to go with the t4r, so if anyone sees me out they can know where to come say hey. Thought it'd be a cool idea

It was a beautiful day! Lots of traffic, mostly side by side and motorcycles. Had too much fun riding to take many pics, tho. Plan to go again the 27th with a couple guys from work. Will try to get pics then. Anyone who can make it would be welcome company!
