Kentucky Adventure Trail or Land Between the Lakes

I'm planning a trip for my son and I and am looking for some good camping and fishing and would like to include some "not extreme" off roading. I know some sections of the KAT are easier than others and was looking for first hand recomendations. Also just learned about off roading on Land Between the LAkes and would like to check that out. Any easy to moderate trails near camping on either lakes?

Hey there. I’m new to T4R but traded my Tacoma yesterday. LBL has some great wheeling and you can camp about anywhere but need to get a backcountry permit. Lots of good roads but be easy if you are alone. Download the MVUM maps from their website. 300 roads are tougher. I haven’t done the KAT but everyone says don’t go alone.
