Hey ya'll! I need some help in deciding which one to get. This goes out to everyone. Just keep the info limited to just these two units, I know that there are others out there and I know that the OEM Nav unit is real good also. But I have narrow my choices down to these two based on price and I can get one from Best Buy (0% finance).

Ok, now to let everyone know what I am looking for in a unit. I want DVD capablity, Nav, and sat. radio.

Now for the differences:

The Pioneer has Nav but needs a seperate DVD player. The Kenwood has DVD but Nav is a seperate unit. They are opposite of each other. I need to know what everyone thinks, would it be easier to add DVD or add Nav. I would assume adding a DVD play would be easier. Does anyone know the facts on this?

And as far as Sat radio both need a seperate tuner and antenna. The Pioneer is compatable with both XM and Sirius but the Kenwood can only use Sirius.

I think I have answered my own question but I need more info before I buy and I trust this forum and I know it won't do me wrong asking for help from ya'll. Below I have links to Best Buy for both. Any help is great. Thanks in advance.

according to Alpine themselves they are saying it will be released in November. Crutchfield has it listed as out of stock but one guy said the sales advisor allowed him to order it and he'll be getting it installed before Thanksgiving. Isn't $1700 alot to pay for just navigation? especially when pioneer has theirs all built in on a unit thats $1400?
Dont get me wrong I have all Alpine stuff in my car, mostly because they are the ones that are really driving ahead with the 5.1 in car stuff and you need their head unit to work with their 5.1 amp so thats what I did but I didn't do nav in it because that $1700 seems steep just for nav ability.
 
Didn't I say that I had it narrowed down? Thanks for the recommondation but it doen't help me at all.

I would go with the Pioneer. It's $300 more but I think I would rather have the GPS and then add DVD later. I don't know a lot about it but I think you would end up spending more if you went with the DVD, and then added the GPS to it, since the DVD unit is already $1,318 by itself.
