Kern dispersed camping recommendations?

Looking for any recommendations on dispersed camping along Kern river.

All official campgrounds are closed until memorial.

Sorry I don't know of any areas along the Kern. I know there's quite a bit once you head up Sherman Pass Rd.

Right, we did some Sherman Pass exploration after Kern. I def want to go back and ride along Sherman pass and check out more areas.

We ended up at one of the dispersed Kern sites. For a couple of days.

Couple of us grew up camping on the Kern River.

Have not had any real challenges camping and fishing
on the Upper Kern recently.

Nice! What area did you end up at? Brush Creek that [MENTION=120150]TotalAutomotiveLV[/MENTION] mentioned? Theres a ton of areas to explore and camp up off of Sherman Pass. Fun area.
