Key Fob for 2006 sport

Hi Guys-

As most of you know I have been looking for a 4th gen to buy.

It appears with the help of rxvedub that I have purchased a 2006 v8 4x4 sport edition.

However I need to get a couple of master keys and another fob for it as the po only had one fob and the valet key for it...

Anyone have any un-cut keys with transponder (black) and a fob lying around.

Please let me know.

Ebay. I bought an uncut key and used fob for around $45 total. Had a locksmith friend cut for free, and programmed them myself using instructions off of this forum.

If you don't have a master key, you may need to have a dealership program. The instructions require a master key as a prerequisite.

thanks craigers, I know I can get them off ebay, but alot of them even though they say are originals are not and are chinese junk.

I was hoping to find someone that might have a fob or two from their 4runner who installed an aftermarket alarm and does not use their factory fobs anymore. the fob I have says: fcc id: Hyq12bbx

Any help is much appreciated!

Once you find a key, I'd get it cut at the dealership by the VIN. This way it's a true original and not a copy or copy of a copy of a worn key.
