Key fob set to open all windows?

I had the dealer change a few things for me today.

- Disable beeping on lock/unlock
- Disable seatbelt chime
- Enable Key and Key fob to open windows and slide open sunroof.
- Enable Key to close windows and sunroof.

Even though the manual lists an option to close everything with the key fob, the option doesn't seem to exist in the system. Wish I had known about Carista earlier since I already have a OBDII-MX bluetooth adapter I used with Torque. Service tech kept telling me they wouldn't disable the seatbelt chime, but did anyway.

I had mine set for a while to open the windows but turned it off after coming out to find the windows part way down, most likely due to the key fob getting pressed in my pocket. One member found snow in his.

How does this work? Can you have the Key fob close it as well?

I had mine programmed to have Key fob open windows including sunroof to open. How does the key (not key fob) work as well? Thanks in advance.

Basically you put the key into the door, turn and hold in the lock position until the windows roll up. Doesn't work with the key fob though.

Turns out my OBDLink adapter is old (2014) and is only ELM327 v1.3 compatible, so I can't do customizations with it hwell:

Turns out my OBDLink adapter is old (2014) and is only ELM327 v1.3 compatible, so I can't do customizations with it hwell:

I was actually able to update mine from v1.3 to v1.4a, however I still can't customize anything with Carista.

I have done it using Techstream. All the customization options are there.

It is a pretty nifty feature to have though. Where I live opening the windows in the summer before you go out for a drive really cools down the car.
