Keyfob programming question

I have a 2005 T4R SE and I ordered a key fob for it on ebay well what they sent was one from a Camry or Corolla. It looks the same as the one that came original for the 4runner minus the rear window roll down. So I have tried to program it but I have gotten to where the doors will lock and unlock so you can program the fob but the fob isn't working. Can any Toyota fob work or do I have to the original style?

You need to make sure the FCCID # from an existing remote matches whichever you order online. I see in your sig that you have a 2005, so your FCCID should be HYQ12BBX.
