Keyless entry not responding...Please help

i have the vip RS 3200 and just got the remote for it. We ran the diagnosis and the code that came up said that there was no signal between the remote and the brain. So our conclusion was that the antennae in the brain is not working (it is the right remote, i got it from toyota and they pulled up all my info). Does anyone know how to fix this problem with buying any new components? Thanks

Have you tried replacing the battery? Not to insult your intelligence, but there was no mention of it and I like to try the simplest solution first

if i were you, i would try to find a salvage yard that has the brain that you need, and switch it out. Be careful though, most salvage yards dont warranty electronic parts.

I ran into one where the owners child had actually spilled juice and it had gotten inside the connectors to the computer.

Remove it, and clean it with electrical cleaner or brake clean, ensure connections are tight.

It's under the drivers seat, you'll need to remove the drivers seat.
