K kelx03 New member May 12, 2008 #1 I have 03 4runner and everytime i lock or unlock, i don't want to notify the whole neighborhood I am home or leaving..... How do I disable the beeps but keep the lights flash when I lock or unlock? I don't want to have to take it in to dealer. thanks

T toto New member May 13, 2008 #2 It can be done, but only with the dealer's OBD scan tool. It's the same situation as this thread.

Click to expand... After I posted this I thought, duh, what am I thinking? It beeps. All Yotas beep. At least it doesn't honk.

Uneek Super Moderator May 15, 2008 #6 IIRC, from another post in another thread, the speaker/beeper/thing that makes the beeping side is located along the driver side fender. It's a black round piece. You can unplug it and no more beeps, no visit to the dealer to turn it off.

cwest94 Member May 15, 2008 #7 I like the beep, it's nice and quiet. My truck honks the horn, which I cant stand, thankfully that I was able to turn off.
