Kicker HS8 Hideaway on 4th Gen Stock Sub Location

Hi,

Does anybody know if the Kicker HS8 Hideaway can fit on the 4th Gen Stock Sub Location?

Box Depth (in, cm) 13-7/8
Box Height (in, cm) 3-1/8
Box Width (in, cm) 9-3/8

My first response is to say no...after looking at it and the measurements, I still say no. BUT! I am wrong every now and again =P I'm not sure of the dimensions of the stock sub box, but having taken it out and seeing what room you have to work with in its place and all that jazz, I say that the body metal doesn't leave much room in a rectangle config.

I would just throw a 10" shallow mount sub in there. Pioneer TS-SW251 (TSSW251) 10" Single 4 ohm Shallow-Mount Sub

Under the seat would probably be your best bet. Many people have put amps that size under the seats
