I just requested a quote for LBJs from Japan as they were much cheaper than the option from UAE.

However the ITR and OTR are 50 dollars cheaper overall from UAE verses Japan and shipping is almost the same, plus everything is in stock from UAE so I will take the risk. Company is legit and seems straightforward so I'm not too worried.

Do you recall what shipping option you ended up choosing?

Yes I did! Shipping was much faster for me (Located on the east coast in MA) compared to Japan. I am still waiting on LBJs from Japan and ordered ITR/OTR from UAE a week after and got those parts first.

Interesting... maybe I am better off going through Japan since I am on the opposite side as you.

I requested a quote for both orders but ended up canceling the order and going with the cheapest option shown. Both times I requested a quote, the shipping was higher than available options at the checkout.

Also, tracking shows the package from Japan is in the United States, not sure how long it will take to clear customs but it got to the country on the 18th so I am hoping any day now. That would end up being just shy of 8 weeks from Japan.

I ended up getting mine from the Japan source because I think the shipping ended up being more expensive from UAE or something like that. It made sense months ago when I got the order quotes, but I can't quite remember now.

I don't regret it either way, and it was a great deal. I think I got the OTRE's from Camelback because it wasn't that much of a deal through Amayama.

That's kind of crazy. Mine only took a week and a half maybe? Is it possible that it was backordered? I know it gives the realtime stock information and what not, so maybe you missed that?

I can't recall but I believe it said parts would ship within the week I ordered from Japan, nothing was on backorder. I did pick the cheapest and slowest option for shipping as I wasn't in a huge rush. The biggest delay seemed to be customs between Japan and US.

No because the order was below the threshold. I think that threshold is like $400? Don't quote me on that though.

Just kidding - I made a couple orders so I will still see what happens. It is cheaper than the dealership (even with an insider discount) and more convenient since it will be delivered to work

I think I should add...

I purchased Sankei 555's from Autozone for $30 each (plus $20 off coupon) for a grand total of: $40. Now I'm normally not much of an aftermarket part kind of guy but I know that often Autozone will rebrand DENSO's and other higher quality parts as "Duralast" and sell them real cheap. Turns out they did for inner tie rods (I always ask to see the part).

Those really shot up in price after 2 years. Right now they are 50 a piece.
