Lawndart has em. The attachment point requires a different rod end. Good thing to add when you're replacing shafts, but I understand they don't bolt right up to the rod ends on the regular 4runner rears 25001-279

We now have two threads about the same topic it seems.

Anyone complaining about a 2 dollar piece of plastic is missing the point. Your tires probably cost 1.50 to make, but sell for 300 bucks.

It's a 30 dollar plastic guard that protects a 1000 dollar or more investment.

Yeah it would have been cool if these retroactively fit all the previous rod mounts, but the design requires that little channel to lock into so it stays put. And these guards avoid the very real issue of pitting on the shafts, which tear up the seals, and then you have to do a lot more work/investment to repair.

You have a few issues if you go fast or wheel your vehicle, and the FJ Toyman guards are awesome about protecting the lower rod end from impact, while the shaft guards protect the shaft from debris being kicked up from the front wheels.

As an alternative, if you really want something to protect the shafts you can use a pipe clamp and heavy duty rubber sheeting. This is what's done on a lot of the Trophy/Trick Trucks, to keep the shafts from being damaged. It doesn't look nearly as good, but it works really well.

Those look pretty but don’t offer any protection for the shaft, it just saves the rod ends from scrapes.

Notoriously weak and they only work with Icon shocks which use a smaller lower rod mount. They also don't protect the shaft.
