Ok I admit I feel Im kicking a dead horse here after all of the reading That I have done online but I cannot seem to repair my code 52 on my 93 4Runner. I replaced the sensor and the pigtail, re-assembled my engine and same exact thing no light for the first few moments and after I shift through 1st and into 2nd light comes on code 52 and no power. I made an overlay harness to bypass the existing harness cut at the ecu connector and soldered in grounded the other side at the ecu mounts, no change replaced the ecu with a known good ecu no change. What am I missing???

Its an aftermarket sensor I paid 139 for it, I am starting to get the feeling with such a sensitive circuit the sensor may be the problem

Could be, aftermarket sensors don't always work, it's a tricky thing. I've got a brand new toyota oem sensor for the 3.0 engine for sale. I bought two for my 4.0 motor swap (1uz sensor same as 3.0) but didn't use them. PM me if you have that motor and want to buy one.
