Knock Sensor issue

OK. So I have to change the knock sensors in my 97 sr5. I am getting so many different answers from dealers on what to use. I know there are 2. But here is the deal...
Are they both the same? Do I have to know which ones I have? Is it a Denso or a Matsu****a? I am so confused and frustrated! One dealer wants to sell me 1 of each while other people tell me they are the same. Whats the deal?
Thanks,
Gary

anyone? I noticed a few threads on here with knock sensor issues. I also noticed other problems occurring after replacement. I only want to do this once. So any info would be nice.
Thanks

help! anyone.

Has anyone actually removed there sensors. I have my manufacturing date of 11/96 which may help if others have performed this task on there truck. Not sure what the deal is with when they started and ended using each of these different sensors.
This thread does not seem to be getting much action. There has to be people out there who have had experience with this.

Ok. Since I am short with spare time I decided to take the truck to a pro to have the knock sensors replaced. Good thing! When removing the intake, 3 bolts snapped off on the heads. When he finally removed the intake there was a lake of coolant on the top of the block. There was nothing left to the intake gaskets and one of the head gaskets was blown out. 187,000 miles takes it's toll I guess. The knock sensors and harness were completely submerged in coolant and the top off the block looked like it had been left outside for years. What a disaster!:ybrick:
One thing I will say is, what a great motor! This thing sounds great. No knocks or pings or taps. Nothing! Even when it's running like crap, it still runs well.
