Running those X's with stock tires and you'll most likely increase gas mileage as they are almost 10lbs lighter per wheel then a stock wheel.They are the lightest 17" wheel made to fit our 4runners and they will also move the wheels outward .90" outward giving it a more aggressive stance.A whole bunch of us on here are running them.

Excellent, thanks...looks whimpy compared to the guys with Duratecs, but I think I will wear out my stock tires, then go for the lift/bigger tires.
Does the bigger rolling circumference of the 285's screw with the speedometer, climb control or any sensors related to wheel speed?

Harper bought his set before I had my set. The six shooters are fairly new, they weren't out when we both had our sets.
Its all just preference. The six shooters are 17x9 0 offset, the X's are 17x8 -10 offset.

SShink: harper7 is correct. with my step up (see Sig) I'm running 2-3mpg better then stock. Yes they are way wimpy but Im planning to ware down my stock rubber then go to the Duratecs as well.

- Yes, but its not going to break anything. Use this tool to see rotation differances to minimize drastic changes.

They're stock...I wanted to do an experiment in performance gain by taking 10 pounds off each wheel. I do plan to change the tires when these wear down a bit, maybe this fall. The stock Dunlop AT20's slip and slide in the snow...hoping winter ends soon.
There is a noticeable gain in acceleration from a dead stop and a shorter stopping distance. I assume this will definitely increase city gas mileage.
I am a proponent of not messing with factory engineering, so I will probably not lift it or run larger diameter tires. I do have ShrockWorks sliders ordered and am going to black-out the chrome emblems (mask or remove emblems, self etching primer, SEM trim black) when it's not freezing out. Other than that, I am just going to drive it mostly on the road and off in the Adirondacks.
