Kraze's Mall Crawler build thread

Whaaat. That's cheaper than I could get a used one from a junkyard. At that price, I might as well replace it! Thanks for the heads up.

Sounds like a good time! We should definitely try to get a Pacific NW meeting going. Socal has a monthly meet and greet now, and we were always doing runs. The Mountain regional section of here =

So since I'll be so close to Washington, I will consider myself a Pacific Northwester :thumb:

As long as they aren't seen much! I just had to exterminate a brown widow that decided to makes itself a home in my mail box. Not ok! :flamethrwoer2::spider:

Yeah they are out in the summers but not seen too much. Wheeling up there is pretty fun though. Different ball game than SoCal lol you like the snow wheeling though.

I sure hope I'll like snow wheeling, because I think that's about all there is to do in the immediate area haha. And then farther into Washington, I hear about this place called "Rimrock." Here's some quotes from Pirate about Rimrock:

That area is some of the more difficult in WA just like you've heard, especially if it's anything other than dry. There have been many people die Jeeping there. Most of the trails are rated most difficult and down hill only.

I've heard if you get crossed up and roll. Better have a funeral home on standby.

Yeah, not for the faint of heart. Many trails have spots where a simple driving mistake could end in loss of life or serious injury. If you do go, learn the trail s before going. There are many trails where there is no turning back. Preferably you should go with someone who knows there way around.

Yeah, pucker ridge is insane. It is a ridge and the trail alternates from straddling it, to one side then the other. The ground is loose. There is a crazy loose hil climb to get up on the ridge. The exit if ran in the correct direction is a half dome slipslope that has an extreme sidehill where a mistake would equal a long tumble and a gory body recovery for your friends.

Now, I love wheeling, and I'm a bit of an adrenaline junky, but that does not sound like a place I want to go! haha

Just picked up the fender (and I got a door and a mirror as well from a junkyard). Grand total of $40.50 for the fender. I do think I got the wrong one though. I got the one "with flares" which I think is for Limiteds, but oh well, as long as it still fits then I can deal with the extra holes in it

I know :( I wish I had time to go drive that side through the bushes before I left so it matches the rest of the truck haha.

You obviously don't know about Idaho pin-striping yet lol that will all be fixed soon enough lol

You leave next weekend huh? Shoot me a text if you need help lifting something heavy or something haha

I could actually use your help lifting some stuff right now. Come over and help me lift all of this stuff into your 4runner, and then drive off with it haha: http://www.toyota-4runner.org/sale-...-covers-floor-mats-cargo-cover-san-diego.html

Well now I'm getting excited! haha

That sad about lagging behind in the voting for May's T4RotM of the month? No need to jump ship.

Any particular reason why? I think Connor has the price pegged.
