I have a 2005 4runner sr5 the center dash console lights are burning out one after another gradually. Started with the background lights on the outside temp/fuel mileage panel and has progressed to the heater fan lights. Any ideas on problem?
happened to me also and it was the voltage regulator on my alternator. Luckily my with my scangauge, i saw the voltage spike from around 13v to over 16v.
Ended up with a newly (rebuilt) alternator since it was almost the same price as an OEM voltage regulator.
