From my local mechanic.

"To replace the lower ball joints would be about 2 hours a side so total is 540 plus tax and about 2.5 hours to replace the tank at 337.50."

Does that seem excessive for LBJ's? I wouldn't know what it costs to replace the fuel tank.

What Gen 4runner?. You can save money by doing the LBJ s your self not too difficult and lots of help videos available. Dropping the tank and hooking up a new one might not be for every one. Get multiple quotes to see if you are getting a relatively ball park figure.
