Local guy at Discount Tire said that Labor Day is a really popular time for tire rebates from most companies. So if you're in the market for tires, keep a look out on the manufacturer's websites.

Update: talked to my local Discount Tire today. They're doing $100 rebates on "three star" tires. I'm not sure what that means, but the Goodyear Duratracs I'm buying were in that category. I don't see anything about this promotion on their website, so you'll have to ask them over the phone or in person.
