Landcruiser springs?

Hi, I am a new member and a new owner of a '90 4Runner.

It has the typical sag in the rear, and I am looking for solutions. I have read about the heavy duty Moog springs, and I also read a hint that the springs from an FJ80 series Landcruiser will also fit and be stiff enough to fix it.

Can anybody confirm that the Landcruiser springs will work?

Absolutely on the LC coils, but off hand I can't tell you the exact year/model etc to use.

I have my own plan on raising the back end.

My dad had a set of "helper" springs that mount on the shocks for his 96 caravan and he took them off when he sold it.

I'm taking this friday off to work on the 4runner and I'm going to try to mount the helper springs on it. The kit is pretty simple and it includes springs, endplates for the springs, clamps and I need to buy some grade 8 bolts. I'll tell you how I make out.
