Last minute radio question before I get myself in trouble...

So tomorrow I am going to install the ipod2car kit and the manual says that I should check and see if there is a (theft detering) radio code before I unplug the 12V.

I just bought the truck and if there is one I have no way of finding it.

Am I okay?
