We replaced the TRD Pro with a new GX460 this week so it's time to move on. I plan to pick up with the build on the GX where I left off with the 4Runner, i.e. 34's, flat roof rack, sliders, bumpers, etc. A lot of my parts from the 4Runner have already been swapped over to the GX and I have a few items already on the way for it as we speak.

I am looking forward to this new build and I appreciate all of the help and knowledge shared here, it'll certainly help going forward with the GX build.

I have a set of BD Squadron Sports with the fog light kit for sale here along with some Prinsu Rack tie-down eyelets and I might toss up the Hefty Fab sliders as well if they interfere with the KDSS on the GX. Take care!

Good luck going forward with everything. Thanks for the information on your lift. I’m satisfied with it and my 4Runner. Do you still have your powder coated roof rails? I would be interested in purchasing them.

Why a goodbye? You bought a luxury 4runner. Post up those pics!!! :naughty:

...and you paid nearly the same price as a TRDP! (someone had to say it :D )

Ace move IMO I really dig the GX460. People complain about a rear swing door, I see it as not needing to drop $3000 on a rear bumper... and a v8!

Enjoy! :thumb:

No worries, glad to help. Those rails are long gone, sorry! Enjoy your Pro, it's a clean build.

A few pics with the 32's I slapped on the stock wheels to help hold me over until I get the lift and 285/75's on along with the bumpers and winch. I also moved the ARB dual compressor over already as well. The meatier tires help to make it not look so soccer mom-ish lol.

Did you get GX base, premium, or luxury?

We got the Premium model, I didn't want the air ride in the Luxury model since it would have to be removed when we lift it. The base models are hard to come by here in Texas, most dealers won't order or stock a base model. We got $5600 off of sticker, not amazing but I can live with it.

Nice. Makes sense.

How is the highway noise with those Ridge Grapplers?

Interesting size. Probably doesn't fit the spare tire area, right?
