LawnDart's Build Thread

lol. Guess I need to order a GPS puck and RAM arm.

Dont know which puck you had in mind, but I am going with a Dual XGPS160($150 Amazon) which is the wireless/bluetooth model. The XGPS150($82) is alot cheaper, just have to wire it. There is a XGPS170 with ADS-B,but unless your a pilot, I dont see the need. They work on the ground just as well as in the air. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oEgycYRJXEk For me,the less wires in the cab,the better. I have a mini Ipad as well and am doing the RAM mount. I think I'm going to mount it just above the NAV screen over the clock recess.

The 160 is the model I'm going with.

So yeah, I worked on this as a camera operator. Also we used the 4Runner to get up some fairly gnarly firetrails to get some of the mountain shots.

Plus BJ really dug the 4Runner, though he did bag on the choice of tires...kidding, since Toyo is the sister company to Nitto.

Loved the video and would have loved to been a passenger !!!

Is there any tangible reason to get the adjustable ICON Adjustable Track Bar?

It's not expensive, but is it a worthwhile upgrade? From what I've read it's a dead nuts easy swap. No lift or jacks required.
