great looking build. How did you run the wires from the light bar and rear lights into the vehicle?

The light bar and top/back worklights run through the gobi rack, but the wiring runs up inside the passenger A-pillar through marine press grommets (waterproof).

Thanks man, it basically solved the one big problem with these bumpers, which is reduced visibility, and considering the weight and strength of the steel bumpers and living in an urban setting...I didn't want to smash someone's vehicle by just backing up.

Yep, did he also mention it was fully loaded with 22gallons of water, and that was extremely soft dune sand?
Shit happens, I just needed a slight tug with my winch and I came right out. The XV2s are incredibly tongue heavy, and my tires basically dug straight down.
Also I posted the video of this a few weeks back too.

He did mention the whole reason you were towing it was because he buried the Jeep right off the bat.

He was having trouble in his jeep, and was leaking transmission fluid pretty consistently. I wanted to tow it all the way to Astoria but Kenneth has an earlier version of the XV2 and they cut the main 7-pin umbilical cable a bit too short in general, so while it fits on his jeep, it was about 4" too short for the 4Runner. Because of that I wouldn't have had any brake lights or turn signals. So I only towed his XV2 out of the dunes.
The crawl control does work, but here's the issue, I had an additional 2500lbs pushing down on my rear axle. Because of that the crawl control wouldn't do anything. The XV2 was also bogged down so it created an anchor that prevented the vehicle from moving forward, so all the wheels would do is dig further down.
And yes I carry 4x maxtrax, mainly for leveling the vehicle out on uneven terrain or to give a pair to friends on trail rides so they have a set.

He just needs to take it to 99 West and have them update the harness.
When we do my XVenture we'll avoid that issue.

Would it be possible for you to take a pic of the grommets? I'm in the process of wiring up my lights and was planning on running the wire to the rear.
