So what you're subtly saying is that we can expect the next upgrade in 30 days.

We're adding the pelfrey fuse panel and breaker for my accessories. Adding one more rigid ignite rock light. And that's about it.

I'm having insurance pay for a new OEM windshield. After 30k miles. Mostly Offroad and cross country it looks like hammered shit. My shop offered to ceramic pro the windshield, side windows, and side mirrors. Should help with rain and mud.

what made you decide to go with a fuse panel instead of a Bussman RTMR relay and fuse box? That's the route I am going.

Dude trust me a year ago I thought what i'd done to it was absurd. Now a year later that almost seems cute.

I'm pretty much done for the year. Trailer is next. Me and [MENTION=68685]Ducmonsta[/MENTION] are doing a few small mods and then I'm leaving it alone.

I got a dog, so my time/money has to go into doggo stuff.

Careful, next thing you know you'll be in love and talking about redirecting that money towards that new love interest! :redface:

Worth doing it? I'm of two minds about it. I know the rear diff is ridiculously strong as is, but armor...

Are you thinking about a strong diff cover or something like the rci diff armor?

Because I'm running the RCI fuel tank skid I think I'll stick with RCI. It looks the business.

I lied.

Next steps for April are:

Goose Gear: We're going to do the 60% Delete, meaning the middle/right rear seats will get removed. We're building a platform that my dog will ride on, and under that platform we'll be installing a second battery (group 35) along with a National Luna controller.

I'm also going to be installing a solar panel setup on my roof going into a charge controller. You really won't see it unless you're above the truck, but at camp it'll keep it all topped off.

Worth doing it? I'm of two minds about it. I know the rear diff is ridiculously strong as is, but armor...

The bottom end of that diff is pretty stout. That being said, your weak points are the flange around the diff drain, the lower bolts on the 3rd member and the input shaft. The flange will eventually get bashed pretty good if you're rock crawling hard with it. But my buddy wheels his Taco with the same rear with no skid and he's done some very technical trails and all he has had to do is cut back some of the drain flange with a Dremel to get a socket in there. However, he mentioned that if he ever did a skid it would be this one BAMF Diff Skid
