Guessing you mean the Goose Gear platform?
Yes. Her personal viewing platform.

When one door closes, another will open! Regardless if it is the end or not, you sir have been an inspiration to many. Thanks for sharing the transformation of your rig. It is awesome to see what one can do to it and see what they are truly capable of. *slow clap*Oh, I'm scheduled to go down to Goose Gear on April 17th, and we'll delete the right 60% (I'll remove the seats in advance to avoid dragging them back). We're doing a group 35 and national luna controller.
The whole idea is that Pozzi will get a spot for a bed on top of that platform, and we'll have tie downs so her Ruff Wear harness can link into with a shortened down bungee, so she can't roam around the truck, and if I slam on the breaks she can't go flying forward. That 3 (1 driver, 2 passengers) is a pretty good compromise on terms of seating.
If I had anything I wish I could change it's that the 60% was on the left, as I wish the back passenger had a better view so they could talk to the driver rather than be behind the driver.
Honestly, after the GG modifications, I'm really and truly reaching the end of what I can do to the vehicle. That's not a joke either.

It's ok, you can take a hiatus so the rest of us can catch up to you! Jokes aside, looking forward to seeing the trailer build as well! The downside is as I wrap up the project it means I'm kind of done, and I worry I'll get bored with it. Not sure what's next, so we'll see. I won't sell the 4Runner, but I will want another project.
I know the trailer will be occupying my time for sure.
For some reason I got it in my head that Pozzi would be sitting on a slightly raised platform next to you up front where the passenger seat was.
Anyway... how's that motorcycle coming?

Stop spending money on the truck and spend it on the travels! I continuously think of different places I can go in my 4Runner, weekend, week long, and more. Keeps me interested and honestly I worry less about the next mod and more about the next trip.
Yep when really moving all bumpers will have some wobble.
Got my second fire extinguisher plate installed. I also grabbed a second fire extinguisher, an ABC (dry chemical). I moved the Halon to the passenger seat, and the ABC sits under the driver. I can reach over and get the halon in an emergency and visa versa if a passenger needed the ABC. Pretty happy with how this design is working out.

Great location. I have one in a kit in the back, but I like that you can access that from the driver's seat. Is that a custom plate or can you post a link? Thanks!

Custom for the time being, but you can buy the production ones at: Fire Extinguisher Mount- 5th Gen 4Runner (FEM-5)
Still keeping the front seat. She'll just get the rear platform, example:

Motorcycle is just sitting in storage, but I want to get it up and running eventually.
Well thats a really interesting set up! Is the shelf part of a cargo system? Thats just the thing I'm looking for right now. Do you have any info on that? Thanks man.
Goose gear makes it, it's not off the shelf and has to be custom fitted to your rig. I'm going down there in April to do so.
Cool thanks. I was just looking on their site and didn't see it. Figured it was them tho because of the fit and finish.
Oh I just saw your post all about it! Sorry about that, I did look back first before I asked I swear!
Commented about it before, but that fire extinguisher mount is the business.
Couple buddies have them in their rigs, but their in the trunk or other locations.
Trunk seems okay because it's likely to not be a fire location, but it's damn far from ideal like right under your ass.
Worth waiting to order? Thanks. I'm stoked to see the final production bracket. Soon.
