[MENTION=124732]LawnDart[/MENTION] Do these trailers come configured for a 7-pin electrical/brake connection? And if so, are you going to install an auxiliary trailer brake controller if you haven't done so already?

They come set up for the 7-Pin by default.

I think from the factory in a base config they don't include trailer brakes, as that's an add on option. Ours will have trailer brakes.

We're using the Tekonsha wireless controller which is an awesome setup.

Thanks. Our tires showed up today. We just need a 3rd for the spare tire.

Otherwise we have everything we need. Trailer should be here thursday/friday.

We then have to tear it apart, fenders, tire carrier, latches, lights, to do our Multicam Black wrap. Then it comes back and we have to mount a bunch of other bits, get the tent on, etc. I'd love to take it on a shake down run up the columbia river gorge just to get a feel for it, tune the trailer brakes, etc.

I have been waiting to see this for months! Can't wait to see it wrapped and decked out LawnDart style. Enjoy!

Thanks, we've been talking with Schutt for like 1.5 years, so this is a big deal to finally see it finished.

Glad I didn't color match it, I just think it might have looked a tad weird.

The 80/20 rack only holds up a boat. We'll eventually go to a Rhino rack for holding up a battleship.

Got a lot done, it's heading off for wrap on monday. Still a lot to figure out, but getting the tent mounted, awning, etc were all big steps:

Maybe I missed it, but do you have any shots of just the rear bumper lights on by chance? And are you doing that as a switch or have them come on with other lights?

Interested in how they look with that bumper.

That trailer would probably back up really nice with the Raptor trailer back-up controller.

I wish I had some specific photos. I have the top rear ambers and bumper lights all on one switch since I can't think of a scenario where I'd need them to be separate.

Yes it would. We may eventually try it with that.

Getting close. Gotta throw the spacers and wheels back on, and reinstall the tent. Wiring up the Baja Designs S2 Sports (6x), but we're almost ready to roll.

Maybe I'm a goof or am just blind. Are those Bushwacker flares? I always look and yours seem to be not as chunky and completely black, where theirs has the little indents (I've never owned flares, so maybe bolts or pins are in them?)

Really like yours, they almost seem like stock ones painted black. Just trying to figure out what's confusing me so much.

They're the stock flares, ordered bare (unpainted) so the plastic is black naturally. He's got aftermarket front and rear bumpers so where the factory flares end he doesn't need to worry about dipping or painting the stock bumper design cues to match.

So I challenged Walt // TAVLLC to do something a bit unique on this build, and maybe someone else has tried this before but I couldn't find it, but we added Currie Anti-Rock torsion bars to the build. Which might be a first for 5th gens at least on this forum:

It did require cutting my exhaust pipe, and we'll see how that affects things, but in november I am going to install heavy duty brake pads and rotors, so we'll probably re-route the exhaust around the anti-rock bar.

Photos don't seem to be showing up for me, did you mount the antirock bar below or above the frame rails?

Having the ambers on their own switch is very helpful for people behind you when driving in blowing snow or dust. I run my roof mounted rear ambers in those conditions, off-road, so the vehicles following me have a visual cue for spacing and conditions. My white lights in the bumper are separately switched for camp use or backing up.

I also run some small Whelen vertex amber strobes for vehicle marking if pulled off on the side of the road. It's handy to have some discrete strobes you can use if you are the trail vehicle in a convoy or if you get stuck/ slide off the road with people following you.

With the Gobi Stealth, I think your baja designs 40" LED bar is straight. If you could do it again would you get the ARC (curved) one instead?
