A few more mods to the trailer, installing a Baja Designs RTL-S on the back.

This bar does brake lights, turn signals, yellow chase lights, and reverse.

So, you've had the new trailer for a while now. How do you like it? Pros/Cons?

Isaac, any chance when able of taking a few pics of some of the tweaks of the design you were speaking about on the review. The spare tire carrier mounting comments and fenders as well?

Shakey? not really, but it'll wobble around a bit. No way around that really.

It'd probably wobble around less if I wasn't using a fullsize ipad.

It wasn't mounted in Baja. My co-driver just held my laptop while calling out turns.

That's what I figured just had to ask... nonetheless, I like how you have it mounted. I'll be doing something similar

Man I spent a couple days going through your build at work. Dang man you have definitely made my decision to plug the trigger on a new 4runner so much easier. Very wicked rig man keep up the great work.

Tire carrier design is locked, seems okay so far. Not sure what you mean by fenders as those were never an issue.

We're waiting on a new tongue box lid to replace the one damaged in shipping. Outside of that my only other upgrade to do will be an Alu-Cab Shadow.

There's a few things we're testing that are in ours that won't be in production trailers yet. But so far I've been really happy with it.

As a Ford enthusiast, where did you see info about a V8 going into the Raptor in 2019? I was under the impression Ford was going all-in with ecoboost wherever they can. I've not paid as much attention since selling my Mach 1 a while ago, but I usually try to keep an eye out for new developments, especially from SVT.

I think Ford got tired of existing V8 owners refusing to "trade up" to a newer Raptor due to the eco-boost alternatives. I know I've told the sales man several times, to call me again when the V8's come back, but otherwise I'm keeping my '14. He says it's a common theme.

I highly doubt Ford is having any trouble selling these things. For every 1 person that complains about the lack of a V8 I bet there are 8 others waiting in line to buy a brand new Ford Raptor for 5K over MSRP. They're selling all of them before they hit the lots. Sooner or later people will give in or trade up for one. It's kind of like when people complained about the new Apple Macbook Pro's for just coming with USB-C ports and not having USB-A ports and SD card readers. They're still selling the shit out of the Macbooks. Same goes with the new ecoboost Ford Raptors. Not saying I wouldn't pick the V8 over the V6 Ecoboost though

Seriously, a friend bought the Gen 2, and of course I made fun of it being a V6, till I drove it and basically scared the shit out of myself getting it from 0 to 60 in like a stupid fast amount of time.

That engine is incredible, and the average MPG on all the vehicles in baja was about...18.8mpg, which is incredible since I'm barely a hair over 12mpg.

I will enjoy my 4Runner for now but come 2019/20 it will be very interesting to see what happens when Nissan brings their Navara here with hopefully a diesel option and the Ford Ranger with their Raptor model. Then of course there is the Bronco too!!!

Also how are you liking the Goose Gear 8" drawer with the Alu-cab tilt fridge slide? I was thinking about that combo because I like all the storage space with the double drawers and being only 5'7" didn't want the fridge to sit up too high. It's tough for short guys like me to reach into the bottom of a fridge lol

Again I like that companies are making exciting vehicles for the sake of making stuff fun again.

Why people are paying 3-4K over MSRP on TRD Pro trim models is beyond me. I like Toyota, I just wish they'd put their heart back in to design again.
