LawnDart's Build Thread

My tv guide shows "world of x games" but doesn't say anything about trail of missions. Is this what I'm looking for?

Splash River Champ!!! :cheer2::llama:

Awesome scenery down there. Definitely makes makes the desire to visit stronger. I'm probably not the target demo for the show but, I would prefer a little more of a deep dive on the locations.

Excellent showing for the T4r! Thanks for taking part and sharing with us. I have to run before it's over but i'll get the rest off the DVR.

I think you underestimated the impression the cameras had on your truck, or the other way around I guess. Your rig had a lot of air time, and it looked great.

I wondered what they were going to put under your name... city of origin... next year it can be "splash champion of champions"

That's awesome. It was like...gray raptor...gray raptor...black raptor...grayer raptor...4RUNNER!!!!...gray raptor...

Only regret is the section where they went up to that butte with the boat parked up there...we weren't in that section because that morning our air compressor was bonking into our secondary air intake sensor and chewed a hole in the sensor housing...throwing an engine code.

I think I mentioned that in July. That and I was SOOOOO hungover that day I probably would have barfed all over myself.

That was pretty cool, great representation! Quite the shot of the water crossing. Made me want to go tear up some of the sugar sand down here.

:lookout:

Issac that was awesome! "Splash Champion"! I can't wait to get my F250 down to Scorpion Bay to go surfing. Nice job.

That water smelled like absolute death. Like liquid shit. But we went hard in the paint.

Probably a lot of raw sewage flowing all over the place down there. Little things like that make you appreciate getting back home sometimes. When I lived in AZ we went to Baja about 3-4 times a year, couldn't take much more than that.

I don’t think anyone had a solid poop that entire trip.

Had it recorded and just finished watching. The Inferno catches your eye every time. You definitely gave the aerial shots some contrast and depth. Too much grey lol. You weren't kidding about the silt, made me cringe. Very cool adventure, nicely done sir!

I think we hit the silt when the helo was chasing Casey when we were in front of him.

Next year I’ll probably go in a friends raptor but I sorta want to go again next year in the 4Runner just because it’s more unique than the raptors.

I am really surprised by how much we were featured compared to the other trucks.

Honestly it could have been a lot longer of an episode. I’ll try to write up some anecdotes for things that got cut but we’re awesome on the trip. Baja is crazy awesome when you have medics and support vehicles that allow you to safely go balls out on trails. Baja isn’t like the rubicon. It’s not big technical terrain. It’s rough terrain at fast speeds that shake the truck to pieces...for hours straight.

It’s an endurance challenge.

Thank you for going out there and representing the 4runner community and not just being just another raptor. [emoji119][emoji482]congrats on an awesome trip completed, the tv coverage is icing on the cake.
