LBJ's, ITR's, & OTR's

I just put LBJ's, OTR's, and 1 ITR on yesterday. Thanks to a great couple of tutorials by SpongerX it was a breeze. Total time was 3-1/2 hours and I was not in a hurry.
Actually the worst thing I encountered was a broken/stuck cotter pin on the OTR.
I didn't get a alignment yet and drove it out the road and noticed when going around turns, the wheel doesn't come back to straight when you come out of the turn. My bud who used to work on front ends said I probably have the toe out too much. Alignment tomorrow.

I never worry about cotter pins. If they come out, they come out. If they are stuck, I just remove the nut as if it wasn't there. The cotter pin shears off into little pieces and go on my way.

I only really worry about removing them nicely if I am going to reuse the tie rod end or ball joint.

3 1/2 hours? Lucky. You must've had God on your side or something. I've done this job a few times (never done the inner tie rod ends), and it takes me more htan that I think... All comes down to tools though I guess.

It went incredibly well. Other than the stuck cotter pin, everything was easy to break free...Thanks to PB Blaster I reckon.
