LC-150 impressions, YMMV

So we spent last week in Iceland (which was completely awesome) driving around in a brand new LC-150 with a diesel engine, and it gave my Bride and I an interesting comparison with my 2021 ORP. I liked the smoothness of the diesel engine and the extra gears in the transmission. I also really liked the extra headroom as there was no moonroof. But other than that? First thing my Bride said were the seats were not as comfortable, and the button controls for the AC etc were so much more annoying than the simple dials on the 4R. But of course the killer was the barn door and the lack of a back window that goes up or down :) Very happy to be home in my 4R.

You went to Iceland and drove a Landcruiser, and didn't take pics of both to share with your buddies on the 4Runner forum?

:(

I have been most remiss in my duties!

The front of that thing reminds me of Jay Leno.
Or a Limited trip.

That's a pretty cool rental. I always get a base model pos domestic.

The front reminded me of the bastard love child of a Grand Cherokee and a Rav4 lol

It wasn't that much more per day (they're very common in Iceland), and I got it in case we were able to go on some of the mountain roads.

Thanks for the pics. :thumb:

Iceland is on the list of places I'd like to see.

Do it! It's really gorgeous, and only a 6 hour flight from Newark...and only 7 from Seattle, which seems really weird until you remember that whole "earth is a sphere" bit lol
