LCA skids that are kdss compatible?

Anyone know who makes lower control arm skids compatible with kdss? The RCI say non kdss only, not sure about the Total Chaos version, is says FJ only.

rCi should make one for kdss. It might be part of the drop down menu when you order, that’s what I currently rock

Rci doesn’t require drilling or any mods to the skid or lca. They do send bolts that are too long that require either replacing it with shorter bolts or cutting the bolts B.C. the bolts are so long they get real close to the cv boots at full stuff.

Yes, it's shaped like an A.... Really kind of overkill. I'd think about ABS guards first

RCI pulldown menus are confusing.

If you have KDSS, put the pulldown on "Select".

If you don't have KDSS, put the pulldown on "Non KDSS".

Super straight-forward. Although I pulled them off a few days ago to have an alignment done and realized that it seemed like they were missing a couple washers. No big deal, had some laying around.

They're really solid though. Despite the other thread, I happily use them as a jacking point (with a piece of wood) when rotating my tires.

Installation is like 5 min on each side. Literally bolt on and no jack required

That's funny my buddy w/KDSS ordered a set 6 months ago and it fit just very close to the sway bar.

Yeah, gonna go do some inspecting. Had them for 8 months and have driven over 12,000 miles and had some offroad fun in 6 states over that time. I've never seen or heard anything unusual, including when I had it up on a lift 3 weeks ago and wrestled the sway bar when installing my lift.

I'll report back what I find.

IIRC RCI made a KDSS version at some point then stopped.

Just looking at the picture, another possible benefit to having these is cutting back on some of the water that jets up towards the front bumper when driving through deep water. This would possibly help to keep the front valance from getting blown off. Doubt it, but maybe. I would also like aluminum but it sounds like they only make steel.

I do know that RCI does NOT make a KDSS compatible rear diff skid plate. I asked them via email once and they said they might in the future but are not currently making one.
