Leak Alert. I can see the leak but don’t know the part. Please help

Can someone help me
Identify this part? Have been having wet floor beds worst in passenger side but has spread to all the floor except the trunk. We have ruled out sun roof drain and ac drain. But pulling back carpenter revealed a while canister that leaking behind ac drain. It putting out more than ac drain and explained the wet floor.
When driving I hear water moving around and the strange sound of “sand” move when turning right.

Anyone know what this canister is? Or how to fix it?

Car: 2003 4Runner 4th gen. Sports Edition. 4 inch lift kit with spacers. Tires: 275R70 but missing my 285’s for the look

Although I wonder if the white canister is just the housing for the 'squirrel cage' fan. Maybe a leak from wherever fresh air is drawn in from, under the scuttle panel I assume.

I'll take a stab in the dark at this. With the caveat please don't poison yourself: have you tried smelling or tasting it? That looks like water condensation from the AC to me. I can't imagine what else it could be other than rainwater/puddle-juice I suppose... Is there still water dripping underneath the vehicle as well (when the AC is on)?

As far as the sand sound goes, if its only happening on right-hand turns, my bet would be either water/sand/dirt/debris in your frame/body components somewhere sloshing around or a problem with your driver's side struts/shocks/airbags/etc. Does it happen when you brake hard? If not, then I'd be checking inside any port <-> starboard frame rails / body panels. BTW your pictures still aren't working. I just watched the most recent youtube clip.

The two together lead me to think you have water accumulating into a pond somewhere in your vehicle, likely near/above your firewall... maybe at the bottom corners of your windshield or above the wheel wells.

Interesting issue, though.

Mine makes a chirp chirp chirp sound that ended up being the power steering pump (in my case.) It seems like these things have generated a whole lot of really oddly specific noises over the years. lol

Drip from a/c drain.
But I’d say more is coming from the leak or whatever it is.. “condensación” maybe than the a/c drain. Will continue to investigate.

I'm having a hard time with the orientation of the camera shot to know exactly where that leak is but it appears to be behind the glove box coming from the housing that the cabin air filter is in??

If so I'm guessing the water is coming in from the cowling area where the opening is for "fresh/outside air" which would drain directly down onto the cabin air filter, check the filter to see if it's getting wet.

That opening can be seen when the hood is opened and looking down through the mesh where the windshield wipers linkage is on the passenger's side, there's a raised flange around the opening so normally any water that gets into the cowling area can't go into the opening but if there is any rust holes or a build up of debris water could be getting into the opening.

Cabin air filter is dry. Crowler area looks clear when lifting hood but may need to take things apart to look closer.

I notice it seems to drips more when A/C is on. So will look more into that

The A/C condensor drain is relatively easy to see, on mine it was on the passenger side (So your drivers side) and is just short rubber hose that comes from a little stub right on the firewall/bulkhead.

I needed to find it to shoot some cleaning foam in there rather than a leak, but it might be worth just checking it is clear, mine would never have gone off-road before I bought it but if yours ever has, it would be possible for detritus to get in there, and then the issue only worsens over time.

1. suck up as must water as you can with a shop vac.
2. Use a box fan for several days.
