could be the:

Sunroof drain may be blocked.

Windshield seal may be cracked or loose.

Firewall grommet down by your left foot may be pierced or otherwise not sealing properly.

thanks Ron, will check all those. I am dropping my car of at the dealership today anyway for an oil change, so maybe they can also check. what is weird is that the leak stopped after about 10 mins into the storm...

Were you running the AC?

Mine does the same thing if its somewhat humid out and im running the ac or if its raining no clue why.

It stops after about 10-15 minutes though.

yes i had the ac blasting! i turned it off because i suspected that it may have something to do with it, but by that time we had gotten back to our cabin and i just set a towel on the ground. i put it thru the car wash weekly with no leaks, it sits in rain storms with no leaks, so i guess it has something to do with that ac. wtf?

I think its just condensation on the vent tubes under the dash and it just builds up and drips i too wash mine weakly with no drips or anything so i know its something inside the vehicle.

Next time it drips just lay in the floor with a flashlight and try and find the drip

just got back from the car wash, no dripping anywhere. definitely had to be condensation...appreciate the comments guys.

Check the AC drain line. I had a Jeep Cherokee that would do this all the time. There was a drain tube on the passenger side firewall that was plugged with dirt. Shoved a screwdriver up there and got a facefull of musty water.

Very common on Jeeps.

My buddy had a similar experience with his Scion TC. In his case the AC drain line inside the cabin was being pinched closed by the carpet. Somewhat of a design flaw. Anyways, it would back up the condensation into the HVAC box and drip out inside the car.
