Get a big pipe cleaner and run it from the drain tube into the EVAP case, you will probably find that there's been debris in the tube clogging it up.

Correct! You got good advice from the yota tech! Your evaporator in your box is dripping condensation and instead of it draining out of the box via the drain tube it is blocked with debris and it back feeds and drops onto the floor. Find the drain tube sticking through the firewall and clean it out. Should fix it

I had a Kia that had a similar issue, it was dripping very little (but dripping still.) I stuck an air chuck (honestly I was being lazy, I could have found a wire or something, but I happened to have the air chuck close by) in the hose and blew it out a bit and a torrent of water rushed out (I'd guess a quart or two maybe?) It fixed the issue and even made the A/C work better.
Apparently there is a spider that loves to make webs in EVAP hoses and HVAC drain tubes, its pretty weird.
