Leaking drum?????

Its seems that my 4runner is leaking oil from the rear drum. I checked my brake fluid and its full. What do guys think its leaking?

You probably have a bad rear axle seal and the oil is coming from the differential

You don't mention the year, but JP4RNR is probably right. I've learned that rear axle seal failure is pretty common on late 90's - 2000 4Runners and Tacomas. The bearing itself isn't bad - just the seal failed. Toyota has redesigned the seal in recent years, so make sure that whoever fixes it uses the latest version of the OEM seal.

My 4runner is a 96. I checked it yesterday and t looks like I do have a bad seal. Gotta do some work on it now
